Working in Asia is synonymous with working in a constantly changing and very dynamic environment: an environment not confi ned by the baggage of an extensive history in urban development and growth but constantly seeking invention and reinvention. Architects are posed with numerous opportunities to shape the city, its architecture and its culture. David Gianotten, OMA Partner – Architect leading OMA Asia, will share his experience of working in Asia’s dynamic environment. The lecture will present OMA’s observations on the changing dynamics of Asia’s planning and architectural scene, illustrating how architecture and masterplanning interact with and within the fluid dynamics.

Joining David Gianotten at the lecture are Paul Jones, Executive Manager - Architect of OMA (former Director of Donovan Hill Architects, Brisbane, former principal of BVN Donovan Hill) and Associate Michael Kokora.
