New Delhi: In a bid to increase transparency and the ease of doing business, the Rajasthan government has implemented online approvals for building plans. The government aims to take the entire process online by the end of the month.

The move follows its recent steps towards urban development such as a law for land pooling, titling and digitization of records.

“The government has come up with an online building plan approval system and for online fire NOC. This is an end to end solution with the idea to remove manual intervention. This is being done to improve the ease of doing business in the state,” said Manjit Singh, principal secretary, local self government.

Application submission, processing, building plan approval and fee payment can now be done online.
