With MF Husain, everything is accidental, even though by long-standing design. Just a fortnight before the opening, he suddenly decided to have a gallery alongside the gufa. And sure enough, there it is, whipped up by some Aladdin's lamp and Doshi – an elegant 100-metre gallery. And in it, he will display his new Theorama series. Husain painted his nine-foot-long versions of each of the nine religions in the St James' Hotel in London last year. This will finally be the home for Theorama: "They can travel outside but will always return here".
