... Bhadra is a large plaza and Sangath has a series of platforms, open spaces and walls. CEPT has thick exposed brick walls and thin concrete fins with north light. I feel they are conveying something very important – connection with the ground. Most of my projects relate to natural forces and community, creating dialogues. Bhadra is pedestrianized and generates an urban dialogue. Sangath, with the steps, creates a dialogue with the garden. Each is a dialogue between nature, community and building. The buildings are rooted. Even though Premabhai Hall is like an animal, it stands powerfully. There are large public spaces, smaller spaces, family spaces and community spaces.1
