This house, put up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, is designed on traditional lines and makes use of bricks extensively—not only as is usual for walls but also for the roof. The brick-work in the roof is reinforced. This type· of two .. roomed quarters have been built in sugar factory areas of Uttar Pradesh.
