Ref: Letter to Architect Christopher Beninger in response to his Presentation made at Cept University

Dear Bimal,

Please find attached a letter that I have sent to Christopher after viewing his presentation made public on the Cept University website articulating his proposal for the ‘Academic Hub’. In this spirit of discussion and debate I have been sharing my concerns publicly. The presentation left many of us with but one question: How are these architects being chosen to design these buildings which have such prestige?

I sincerely do hope that the meritocracy that you so wish to put in place will start here with the quality of buildings that are commissioned and that the university will not accept what can at best be called mediocre architecture.

I do urge you to reconsider the manner in which the architecture of the campus is being envisioned and implemented.
