The municipal commissioner Dr. Mohapatra has sent a letter stating that they are shifting the Flood Control Centre to a new location away from the Sanskar Kendra and Tagore Hall premises. 

"The building will be built elsewhere on the huge campus of the Sanskar Kendra complex. The AMC building will now come up away from the periphery and will not hide the museum," said Guruprasad Mohapatra, municipal commissioner. Mohapatra further said he had detailed discussions with senior architect BV Doshi before taking this decision a few days back.
