MUMBAI: The Supreme Court rejected the anticipatory bail of architect Anuragh Garg, an accused in the Navi Mumbai builder Sunil Lahoria murder case. SC has also asked him to surrender in 20 days.

Lahoria was shot dead outside his Vashi office on February 16, 2013. Later, the two shooters, former encounter specialist Emmanuel Amolik, and five others including Suresh Bijlani were arrested.

"Bijlani did not make any revealation during his custodial interrogations but we have got some other evidences and witnesses who have named Garg masterminded it. Garg's architect's license was about to get cancelled due to Lahoria's complaint," said an officer.

Meanwhile the Thane session court on Saturday rejected the bail application of Bijlani for the 14th time. After SC rejected Bijlani's bail in February this year, he moved the Thane session court for bail citing his father's ill health.
