Irate opposition MPs in the Lok Sabha took the government to task for taking them for granted by regularly introducing Bills without giving notice. On Wednesday, after The School of Planning and Architecture Bill, 2014, surfaced in the list of business distributed in the morning, Opposition MPs raised the issue. First, K.C. Venugopal (Congress) pointed out that the Bill did not come up at last week’s Business Advisory Committee meeting. Saugata Roy (Trinamool Congress) said Members must know before-hand what was being debated if they were to prepare. “The List of Business came to our houses this morning. So, when will the Members have the chance to prepare?”
