PUNE: City-based Dr Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture (BNCA) for women has been named Asia's best architecture college for the year 2014-15 by the prestigious World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC) after a research survey by KPMG.

BNCA was given top rank on the basis of the studies in architecture and research carried out by the institute. The award will be given to the college authorities on April 23 this year. The selection was based on primary and secondary research, scores from jury members and KPMG.

Principal of the college, Anurag Kashyap, said KPMG is one of the best auditing authorities in the world and the college staff and students were happy with the results. "They analysed our reports, our studies in architecture and research studies," Kashyap added.

While the college has been declared as Asia's best educational institution, these ratings do not include colleges from China.
