Une Nuit Radieuse

Une Nuit Radieuse (A Radiant Night), by Jean Winiger, is a play about the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, which takes place in India. Le Corbusier, played by the author (Winiger), was working on his last big project in Chandigarh, when a young architect comes to him. This inspiring meeting starts a conversation about the life of this philosopher, artist, and lecturer who left his print on modern architecture.

In addition to Winiger as Le Corbusier, the cast includes Los Angeles dancer Isaac Huerta and Philippe Thonner, who plays the young architect. Winiger has incorporated text, sketches, and materials left behind by Le Corbusier, a selection of which are projected on two onstage screens, to create this one of a kind play.
