Smart Cities India 2016 exhibition and conference will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, during 11-13 May 2016. The expo will connect exhibitors and speakers with government administrators, municipal bodies, industry leaders, investors, etc., who have interest in developing smart cities.

Focussed on smart governance, smart energy, smart environment, smart ICT, smart mobility, smart buildings, etc., the conference will deliberate on aspects pertaining to clean water; efficient solid waste management; improved low emission public transport; proliferation of electric and hybrid vehicles for private use; clean energy for smart buildings; etc., all enabled through the use of ICT.  The objective is to provide public services for private benefit – creating a partnership between the government and its citizens.

The 2nd edition of the annual international Smart Cities India 2016 expo invites speakers from global leaders to share their expertise as India forges ahead to improve the quality of life of its citizens. The Smart Cities India conference technical committee is now accepting abstracts.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT, REVIEW PROCESS AND NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE

  • The Programme Committee will review all abstracts that have been submitted on time and in the correct format
  • The sessions are of the panel discussions format with one keynote presentation. The call for papers is open only for panellist opportunity and not for making the oral presentations. The keynote slots are reserved for contributions covering a wider scope which are of interest to audience and address the progress and novelties within the topic. All the panellists are required to submit the presentation by certain deadline after acceptance of the abstract.
  • Please avoid double submissions. In case you would like to replace or adjust your previously submitted abstract, please send the new version to conference[at]smartcitiesindia.com
  • Please make sure the entries you are making should be correct as it will used for promotion till the end of the expo
  • Applications send by other means will not be accepted.
  • Commercial texts promoting particular products will not be accepted.
  • All information is to be provided in English only
  • Co-Presenters are not allowed
  • Organiser does not cover travel, accommodation and ground logistics costs but speakers enjoy free charge registration for entire event
  • Speakers must be aware that the Conference Programme Committee reserves the right to cancel their participation if they do not comply with these guidelines that will be sent at the end of the selection procedure.
