The interdisciplinary journal Environment, Space, Place (ESP) is seeking submissions for its Spring 2016 edition. There are two fundamental criteria for articles published in ESP. First there must be a turn to philosophical engagement broadly conceived. There must be some sort of reflection, problematizing, or concept-formation that is an aspect of the presentation. Secondly, there must be a geographical turn—the inscription or spatialization of meanings. The spatial moment of your content must be made thematic. This requires an extra effort to think in terms of how the contents of your focus are spatially expressed such that the meanings of those contents are the spatial embodiments and relations. All submissions receive a double-blind peer review.

ESP is the journal for the International Association for the Study of Environment, Space, Place (IASESP).

Articles must be received by December 1, 2015 for consideration in the Spring issue. Please send submissions to Troy Paddock at paddockt1[at]southernct.edu
