Justine van Mourik with Le Corbusier La femme et le marechal ferrant (The woman and the blacksmith) tapestry - Parliament House's Justine van Mourik can't help but stop to admire the beauty of Le Corbusier's tapestry La femme et le marechal ferrant (The Woman and the Blacksmith) due for public display in 2016.

Le Corbusier's La femme et le marechal ferrant (The Woman and the Blacksmith) was a gift from France to mark the opening of Parliament House in 1988.

It usually hangs in a stairwell in the ministerial wing, viewed only by government ministers, staffers, and those who have business with them.
