Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Singh in a meeting here on Monday held a detailed discussion with all the District Heads to chalk out strategies for preparation of the Smart City proposal in presence of consultants from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

First round would be held from December 2016 to January 2017 during which the team would interact with the public as well as the line departments to identify various issues.

The second round would be held from January 2017 to February 2017 during which the team would be engaged in prioritizing and analyzing the issues.

The third round would be held from Feb 2017 to March 2017, wherein the team would be designing the solution for the citizen.

Later, various departments provided their suggestions/ feedbacks on the smart city proposal.

The DMO Yupia also stressed on the need to have a safe biomedical waste disposal system.
