The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, will celebrate in March the success of two Bangladeshi projects that won the 2016 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
The Network in a statement on Saturday said Minister for Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor and Director of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, Farrokh Derakhshani, will present award certificates to all those who have contributed to the realisation of the Bait Ur Rouf Mosque in Dhaka on Mar 8. Certificates will be presented to those associated with the creation of the Friendship Centre in Gaibandha, the next day.
