Members of ARCASISA Nation have noted with serious concern that, there is a proposal in an advanced stage of implementation to demolish the above referred Iconic complex comprising of Hall of Nation and Industries and Nehru Pavilion at New Delhi.

It is noteworthy that these Iconic structures are a living testimony to India’s contribution to contemporary architecture & Engineering excellence & are widely published & text book material & above all a great source of inspiration to the students and practitioners of Architecture alike.

It will only be apt to say that the Iconic complex comprising of Hall of Nation and Industries and Nehru Pavilion is nothing short of the “Heritage in the making” and requires to be preserved, protected and maintained.

We the members of ARCASIA region earnestly appeal to the government of India through you to do everything possible to ensure protection, preservation and maintenance of the said Iconic complex comprising of Hall of Nation and Industries and Nehru Pavilion.
