JAIPUR: Providing major respite to residents living in urban areas, Rajasthan government will kick start 'Mukhyamantri Sahari Jan Kalyan Yojana' (MSJKY) from Wednesday. Camps will be organized in all the local bodies for regularization of colonies and distribution of land deeds. 

All the UITs, municipal corporations, councils and development authorities will organize these camps under MSJKY. To reach to wider public, regulatory bodies have been asked to reach up to zones and wards through these camps. 

"In MSJKY societies developed on agriculture land will be regularized while people living in unauthorized colonies will get JDA land deed" said an official from Urban Development and Housing Department. 

"Those applying for land deeds, registry will relief in interest and stamp duties. People would also get their maps vetted, transfers of land along with re-distribution and reconstitution of it will also take place" added the official. 

Apart from that, camps will also have the work to hand over land deeds of plot size 50 sq. yards to nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes.
