The implication of being ‘Indian’ and what that means to ‘Design’ are fundamental to the context in which we work and live, shaped by a world-view which seeks to explain things through their lakshanas, attributes. The talk explores this world-view and its expression particularly in architecture—within the larger questions of what is Indian and what is Design?
