NBCC today said it has received an approval letter from the Government of Assam for the construction of twin tower trade center at Guwahati, Assam amounting to Rs2,000cr, based on a self-revenue generating model.

The company expects order inflows of Rs25,000cr in FY18E. Further, to gain synergies, the company is looking at inorganic growth by acquiring smaller PSUs operating in the same space. Being a niche player in the industry, NBCC would benefit from government’s initiative like Housing for All, AMRUT, Smart Cities, etc. The company’s land bank of 170 acres will fetch revenue from the real estate segment. It exhibits financial strength due to its debt-free balance sheet and sufficient cash reserve (Rs2,393cr as of Q2FY18).
