This second issue of the villardjournal aims to explore the wide range of themes connected to communication and architecture. The idea is to approach this entangled and conflicting relationship from different vantage points: looking at architecture as a means of communication; investigating the migration of architectural strategies and attitudes into the immaterial flows of information; surveying the situation of the media in relation to architecture and their possible evolution; exploring the ways in which communication works inside the design process; addressing the need of narrative devices to inflect the debate and affect reality in order to ease the reception of architectural experiments; investigating new methods of communicating architecture based on the rising power attributed to the architectural representation today.
