Seats in top architecture colleges in the state offering a Bachelors course in Architecture are almost full with only a few vacancies remaining after the first round of admissions. The Admissions Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) had allotted 1,201 seats of which nearly 776 students confirmed their admission after paying fees whereas 551 seats remained vacant.

Top institutes in the state including Cept University had only seven vacancies out of 40 seats, whereas MS University had only four seats vacant out of 50, seven out of 40 remained vacant in Nirma University. Sal School of Architecture had 23 seats vacant out of 70 seats. Of 135 institutes offering bachelors programme in architecture, only one institute after the first round result remained where not even a single student confirmed admission. Nobel Architecture College had 40 seats of which seven were allotted by ACPC but no students confirmed their admission.

A total of five institutes got confirmed admissions from students in single digit and they included Laxmi Institute of Architecture, Gokul College of Architecture and Design, Vadodara Institute of Architecture, Mahavir Swami College of Architecture and Mudra Takshashila Institute of Design.

The choice filling for round 2 will begin began on July 31 and will continue till August 2. The result of the same will be declared on August 4.
