Turin is a city of austere and rigorous nature that owes its identity to a long historical process. Piazza Castello, built during the ducal period, and the Mole, now home to the cinema museum, are some of the symbols of greater recognition. In this context of strong historical references we want to imagine an architecture capable of regenerating a disused site in the western area of the city. The site, located close to the important Shroud museum, will become the headquarters of MUTUC, the Turin Chocolate Museum, a center able to give a renewal to the entire area. Exhibition halls, craft workshops, refreshment areas, will represent meeting spaces for the local community. An architecture that becomes a container in which to tell one of the most renowned local traditions, the processing of chocolate, but which can exalt, through a desire for regeneration, the progressive root of which Turin has become a promoter in the course of its history.
