At Anegundi it was the first-hand experience how Chapadis (granite stone slabs), Kuchas (Stone pillars), sized stones and aggregates are quarried in an indigenous manner. This way of quarrying is age-old witness being the chisel marks on stones of Hampi!

This also brought to notice as to how little is wasted and how little is the waste stream-very much unlike the current machine based quarrying and making of the stone slabs.
