Northern Chapter, The Indian Institute of Architects is hosting deliberations on the proposed amendments to the Architects Act by the CoA

All Architects registered with the Council of Architecture have received the following email recently from the Council of Architecture.

Dear Architect,

As you may be aware, the Council of Architecture is in the process of proposing amendments to Architects Act, 1972. The Architects (amendment) Bill, 2018 together with comparative chart are available on the website of the Council under "New & highlights" section and the links are reproduced below: 

In order to have wider consultation, the Council invites your suggestions on the above and requests that any feedback/suggestion may be sent to the Council at its email [email protected] by November 20, 2018.

The Architects Act is the corner stone of our existence as Architects and defines the whole gamut of issues right from how Architecture is taught and how it is practiced. The amendments to the Act will define the future course of the profession for the next 40-50 years. 

Northern Chapter, The Indian Institute of Architects is hosting deliberations on this very important subject at New Committee Room, SPA, New Delhi at 4:00 PM, Saturday 17th November, 2018 to form a collective view of the Profession for representing to Council of Architecture on this very important matter. We invite all Architects, including non members to be part of this discussion.
