Part of the Platinum Jubilee Lecture Series of the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi

We often speak about our practice of architecture, but do we pay sufficient attention to the architecture of practice?

While practice is the primary means by which architecture comes to fruition, it is an inadequately researched or conceptualized term. The lecture will seek to explore the question of practice in a rigorous manner, seeking a framework beyond the commonly encountered anecdotal models of individual genius or business organisation. The lecture will present philosophical inquiry as well as case studies from the speaker’s practice.
