Architecture and Society Talk Series, 46th Edition

Exploring the ways in which traditional wisdom can be harnessed through modern technological means, the 46th Edition in the Architecture and Society series will focus on remote and streamlined management of shared resources, as exemplified by the SimTanka, a free and open source app for designing a reliable rainwater harvesting system with covered storage tank. The talk will be delivered by Vikram Vyas - a scientist working in the field of theoretical particle physics. He is also interested in developing mathematical tools and models which would facilitate reliable and sustainable use of water and energy resources.
