The International Colloquium Interventions in Memory, Modern-Era Restorations of Medieval Funerary Monuments (15th-20th centuries) is now accepting proposals for a posters session, whereby the colloquium is opened to a select group of participants who will join the panels of invited speakers.

This session welcomes proposals from scholars conducting research within the thematic scope of the Colloquium which concerns restorations of medieval tombs that have been undertaken in the modern era, sometimes real manipulations which have changed the original funerary projects, and interventions which have impacted on the materiality of the works and/or their reading and interpretation.

The poster session is an opportunity for informal, interactive presentations and discussions. Therefore, the selected participants should be available to present their respective posters during the Colloquium. It will be a forum for the exchange of ideas, for dialogue and for gathering useful feedback from specialists.

Brief oral presentations are intended to provide a quick and easy route for appraising the audience of new research, whilst the posters exhibition is an opportunity for participants to communicate their work to a wider public, besides the speakers of the Colloquium.
