It is our pleasure to invite your submissions to the 27th ERES Annual Conference 2021 to be held on June 2-5, 2021 at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (TUK) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. The conference shall take place on the announced date in any case. If external circumstances so require, it will be hybrid or virtual. A physical conference is the most preferred and assumed option.
The Call for Papers is attached to this email and available for download from the conference website at 2021.eres.org. There, you will also find all necessary information for your participation.
TOPICS: We welcome submissions of papers or abstracts from both academic and professional researchers working on a wide array of topics, in particular:
- Corporate Real Estate Management
- Valuation and Appraisal
- Real Estate Economics
- Real Estate Finance and Investment
- Housing
- Urban and Regional Analysis
- Sustainable Real Estate
- New Technology and Data in Real Estate
- Real Estate Education
There will be refereed sections with discussants, which require full paper submissions, and non-refereed sections. Applicants for the refereed sections should be willing to discuss a paper. For the non-refereed section decision of acceptance will be made upon the abstracts. Rejected papers will automatically be considered for the non-refereed section.
PARTICIPATION: Anyone who registers and has paid the participation fee can participate. In case of a virtual or hybrid event, registered participants will be able to watch recorded presentations and receive a notification and a reminder before the live sessions.
SUBMISSION: We accept well-developed extended abstracts or papers.

FORMAT: A physical conference is the most preferred and assumed option. With regard to a potential hybrid or virtual conference format, short-listed participants may be asked to record your research presentation (max 15 minutes) and provide the link to your video presentation. Presentation videos will be made available to the participants of the conference.
BEST PRESENTATION AWARDS: Several best presentation and best paper awards will be granted after the conference. PhD papers will be submitted automatically for the PhD Best Paper Awards.
