Prof. David Newman Authors Sociology: Exploring the Architecture of
Everyday Life

March 1, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - David M. Newman, professor of
sociology at DePauw University, is the author of the latest edition of
one of the leading textbooks in his field. Sociology: Exploring the
Architecture of Everyday Life, Sixth Edition, has just been published by
Pine Forge Press. Dr. Newman also served as co-editor of readings that
supplement the text, which are also available through Pine Forge.

The publisher states that the latest edition of the textbookDavid Newman
Sociology 2006.jpg "once again invites students into the world of
sociological thought," and that Newman "encourages students to think
less about the next test and more about how sociology applies to their
everyday lives."
