This article looks at the extensive and influential literature on the architect Louis Kahn, and undertakes a quantitative analysis of the bibliographical data by type of journal, country of publication, and frequency. The analysis shows that of nearly 500 articles in 150 journals published throughout the world, there is a very high concentration in a few selected journals representative mainly of four countries. In relation to frequency, the peaks of publication generally coincide with the design and construction of Kahn's major works.
