INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR HUMANE HABITAT (IAHH) Hosted by Rizvi College of Architecture

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 20th edition of International
Conference on Humane Habitat (ICHH) 2018. It shall focus on the theme of Evolving
Humane Habitats in Rural, Urban and Regional contexts. It shall incorporate
presentations by leading architects, educators, engineers, social scientists,
environmentalists, urban planners, urban designers & landscape architects. The
issues: affordability, appropriateness, sustainability, resilience and innovation in
planning, designing and developing sustainable humane habitats shall be discussed
and debated over a period of three days from January 30 to February 1, 2018.
The Conference shall be organized like a festival consisting of conversations,
presentations, exhibitions, competitions and cultural performances. The participating
organizations, experts, faculty, researchers, students and citizens shall be interacting
and contributing to adoption of a Charter on Humane Habitats at the end of the
conference.

THEME

The 20th International Conference on Humane Habitat shall focus on the Theme: Evolving Humane Habitats in Rural, Urban and Regional Context.The conference shall be organised by International Association for Humane Habitat (IAHH) and hosted by Rizvi College of Architecture at its premises in Bandra West, Mumbai, India on January 30 – February 1, 2018 in association with Council of
Architecture (COA), Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA), and World Society of Ekistics (WSE), and Maharashtra Chapter of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Forum of Colleges of Architecture, Mumbai Region and Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture (MASA) and Practicing Architects, Engineers and Town Planners Association (PEATA) in Mumbai, India.

Abstracts                                                                                                                                

Abstracts (about 2000 words) by December 01, 2017 on A4 portrait format in Arial 10 font size along with brief curriculum vitae, passport details, a photograph of the speakers and registration form.

Final Papers                                                                                                                              

Final papers (about 8000 words) by January 10, 2018 on A4 portrait format in Arial 10 font size along with illustrations, photographs, slides and detailed curriculum vitae of the speaker.

Except invited speakers all delegates, paper presenters and accompanying persons are required to register for the conference.
