The process of demolishing a chimney is skilled work that requires stages of preparation leading to the dramatic fall of the chimney.  There are currently very few specialist chimney ‘demolishers’ who are in high demand due to the decline of the industry. Once demolished, bricks from lime mortar-built chimneys can be salvaged and reused. The video documents the lead up, fall and residue of the demolition.
