Bhopal: Three important Central projects including Smart City Mission, AMRUT Yojana and Housing for All are likely to face financial trouble following installation of Congress government in Madhya Pradesh. All the three projects have completed three years. Both Centre and state have contributed 50% share of money for the projects.

Now there is apprehension that the projects could get stuck due to financial crunch as the state’s Congress government would not be too keen to provide its share for the projects. With the BJP government at Centre and Congress government in state, these projects are likely to get stuck.

Congress had opposed shifting of government houses for Smart City Project and displacements due to Smart Road.
