...In the midst of a post-pandemic environment, Research Day 2020 will seek to engage the audience in a discussion about the impact of research in the built environment, both now and into the future. This will be of particular importance as governments the world over have identified the built environment as both a key engine room for economic recovery and a front line in our defense against the spread of diseases. With social, economic, cultural and environmental applications, research into the built environment spans different fields and disciplines on a variety of ways. This event will explore what has been the impact of built environment research in the past, how researchers might investigate future possibilities capable of delivering lasting impacts and what the future holds in what remains a tremendously uncertain macro environment…
