The building was designed in the 60s by the American architect Richard Vrooman who was also its first dean. Like many of Corbusier’s buildings this one lifts off the ground creating a porous public space below and sports a brise soliel or sun breakers. Even so this is another elegant pavilion-like structure that works well for the hot and humid tropical climate and as a fluid space in an educational campus
